The Manang Air helicopter that took off from Lukla has gone missing. The police informed that the helicopter had crashed in Lamjura, Solukhumvu.
The police have informed that there was an initial report of a helicopter crash in Lamajura near Solududhakunda Municipality and Likhupike Rural Municipality.
Police have been mobilized to the scene. The helicopter was carrying 6 people including the captain and 5 passengers. All the five passengers in the helicopter are foreign nationals.
According to Manang Air, all the people on board the helicopter were Mexican citizens. A helicopter flying from Solukhumbu Surke to Kathmandu crashed at 10:30 on Tuesday morning. 9NA/MV callsign helicopter pilot must be Nepali.
