पोखरामा रोपाई महोत्सवमा रमाए पर्यटक
Pokhara, June 14/ Pokhara Tourism Council has prepared the 18th edition of Asare Planting Festival in Pokhara 13 Kaseri. On the occasion of Asar 15 i.e. Paddy Day, planting festival is going to be held saying ‘Pokhra for all seasons’.
Planting which is organized every year, planting festival has been held in different areas every year. Pomnarayan Shrestha, Chairman of Pokhara Tourism Council, informed that the festival was organized with the aim of promoting tourism in Pokhara and informing the new generation about paddy cultivation.
He said that the festival aimed at the profession of farmers will be fruitful by protecting arable land and commercializing agriculture.
He said that this year, the festival will be held in Pokhara-13, Mahendra Bhandari’s 7 and Vishnu Bhandari’s 5 farms with an area of 12 plants. The area of paddy cultivation which is known as the main crop is decreasing now.
