Pokhara, 22 February- Raju Godar, a senior Kyokushin player from Pokhara near Perth, Australia, died in an accident. Raju Godar of Pokhara 17 Gharipatan went 9 years ago.
Although he died three months ago, the family was informed by the embassy only a few days ago. Raju’s brother Deepak Godar said that the family came to know about Raju’s death only on February 1.
It took him two weeks to find out if it was his brother. Afant and the representative of NRNA Australia who are in Australia said that they performed the cremation in Australia on February 14th.
Godar said that although the Australian government had informed the Nepalese embassy within a week of the accident, the Nepalese embassy had informed them only after three months.
