Dream City, an entertainment park located in Pokhara’s Pumdikot, has recently opened to enhance the tourist experience. Situated near the statue of Mahadev in Pumdikot, visitors can explore both the Pumdikot Mahadev temple and the park simultaneously.

Spanning an area of 25 ropani, Dream City offers various attractions, including a hot air balloon photo booth, ‘Wishing Hand’ umbrella park, glass sky walk, waterfall, and restaurant. Tourists can capture memorable photos and videos throughout their visit. Additionally, an aquarium is currently under construction and will soon be operational.

Dream City Pvt Ltd has invested approximately 14 crores to establish and operate Dream City. The park is a collaborative effort between young entrepreneurs Vinod Paudel, Shyamkumar Bajgai, Divash Gurung, and local investors.

Shyam Bajgain, the owner, mentioned that the park’s restaurant can serve up to 200 people simultaneously. Bajgai added that Dream City offers panoramic views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre Himal, Dhaulagiri, Phewa Lake, and Stupa. The park is creatively designed in the shape of a cruise ship.

Furthermore, Bajgain revealed that Dream City is currently developing Nepal’s largest aquarium. Once completed, visitors entering the 48-foot-long aquarium will feel like they are immersing themselves in the sea. The park charges an entrance fee of Rs 250, granting access to attractions such as the Umbrella Park and Wishing Hand. For an additional fee of Rs 450, visitors can explore the entire park and enjoy a lunch at the restaurant. The park currently employs 40 people.
