Kathmandu, 20 June – The music industry mourns the loss of acclaimed singer and artist, Rowin Tamang, who tragically passed away at his residence in Budhanilkanth Municipality-5, Bishnumati Chisyani, Kathmandu.
Rowin’s demise came to light when he failed to answer repeated calls from his concerned wife. Alarmed by the situation, she sought assistance from the police, eventually leading to a visit by Police Inspector Dipendra Chand and his team to Rowin’s residence.
Upon arriving at the scene, Rowin’s wife informed the police about her unsuccessful attempts to reach him. After discovering that the house’s gate was locked upon her return, she grew increasingly worried. Rowin resided on the second floor, but he remained unresponsive to her calls and pleas.
In a bid to resolve the situation, Rowin’s wife contacted his sister, but her calls went unanswered as well. Eventually, she contacted the police control for assistance.
Peering through a curtained window from outside, the police spotted Rowin lying motionless on the side of his bed. Concerned for his well-being, the authorities and family members broke down the door to enter the room and provide immediate aid. Tragically, Rowin was already lifeless, and the police confirmed that there was no evidence of foul play at the scene.
The exact cause of Rowin’s passing will be determined following a post-mortem examination, as stated by the police.
Rowin Tamang was not only renowned for his melodic voice but also for his appearances in various films. Notably, he recently showcased his acting prowess in the movie ‘Chadke’ and was recognized for his performances in films such as ‘Mask,’ ‘Jai Parasuram,’ and ‘Chiso Estere.’
His soulful renditions, including popular tracks like ‘Chiso Chiso Hawama,’ ‘Jaati Maya Lae Pani,’ and ‘Bhulma Bhulio,’ have left an indelible mark on the hearts of music lovers nationwide.
The news of Rowin Tamang’s untimely demise has left a void in the music and film industry, and he will be deeply missed by his fans, colleagues, and loved ones.
